Dr. Kristina Koch is a physical therapist, specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. Her journey into this specialized area began at Springfield College, where she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1996. Driven by a passion for advancing her knowledge and skills, she furthered her education at The College of St. Scholastica, obtaining her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021.
Throughout her career, Dr. Koch has been dedicated to both clinical practice and education. She has shared her expertise as a guest lecturer for the physical therapy program at Regis University and as a speaker for the medical program at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where she educates students about the crucial role of physical therapy in addressing pelvic floor disorders.
Recognizing the ongoing need for specialized training in pelvic rehabilitation, Dr. Koch joined the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in 2019 as a faculty member and more recently joined the curriculum development team. Her commitment to advancing the field led her to create the Pharmacology for Pelvic Health Providers course, providing invaluable knowledge to fellow practitioners.
